Céline Zhang est une jeune innovatrice et étudiante en sciences sociales au Cégep Marianopolis. Passionnée par les politiques publiques, l’urbanisme et l’engagement civique, elle s’investit activement dans la transformation des systèmes éducatifs et institutionnels afin de mieux représenter les voix des jeunes.

Céline est la fondatrice du Student Innovation Lab (SIL), une initiative qui vise à avancer l’innovation sociale en finançant des projets menés par des jeunes. À travers cette initiative, elle a mobilisé plus de 1 500 bénévoles (40 000 heures de bénévolat financées) et lancé 17 campagnes de sensibilisation.

Animée par la volonté de rendre la participation citoyenne plus accessible, Céline a également réalisé Une Voix pour tous, une vidéo d’éducation civique sur l’importance des conseils étudiants, qui a remporté le premier prix du jury d’Élections Québec.

Grâce à son engagement, Céline a été reconnue à l’échelle nationale et internationale. Elle fait partie des 5 lauréats nationaux du programme Ingénieux+ 2025 et figure parmi Canada’s Top 10 Under 18 Changemakers. Céline représentera la jeunesse québécoise au Forum des jeunes du Conseil économique et social (ECOSOC) des Nations Unies en 2026.

Céline Zhang is a young innovator and Social Science student at Marianopolis College. Driven by a passion for public policy, urban development, and civic engagement, she is committed to reshaping education systems and institutions to better reflect youth voices.

She is the founder of the Student Innovation Lab (SIL), a youth-led initiative advancing social innovation in public policy and education. The Student Innovation Lab (SIL) funds, mentors, and empowers young people to lead their own projects, advancing systemic change in governments, schools, and cities through grassroots funding, civic consultation, and spatial redesign. SIL enables young people to move beyond advocacy and become designers of public systems.

Through this project, she has mobilized over 1,500 volunteers with 40,000+ funded volunteer hours. They have also led 16 advocacy campaigns aimed at driving tangible systemic change.

Her commitment to accessible civic participation also led her to produce Une Voix pour tous, a civic education video highlighting the importance of high school student councils, which won Élections Québec’s First Place Jury Prize.

Her work has been recognized nationally and internationally. She is one of five Ingenious+ 2025 National Winners and was named one of Canada’s Top 10 Under 18 Changemakers. She will also represent Québec youth at the 2026 United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum.

Outside of her work, Céline draws inspiration from sailing and the arts, which shape her vision of building more inclusive, creative, and sustainable communities.
